My name is Michelle Graabek
Michelle Graabek has a PhD in History and Civilisation from the European University Institute. Her research lies at the intersection of migration, gender and religious history. Her current research focuses on culture and community among Danish Latter-day Saint immigrant women in Utah during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
Michelle Graabek has a BA in Archaeology from the University of Reading, and an MA in Cultural Heritage Studies from University College London, where she developed her research interests and interdisciplinary research skills. Prior to starting her PhD Michelle worked in education and event programme management at historic buildings and museums in England.
